Contribute to community health as an Addictions and Mental Health Care Nurse. Provide essential care for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges in a pharmacy context. We're seeking qualified nurses for full-time and part time roles.
In this position, you will administer Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT), ensuring secure dosing and monitoring client progress. Your efforts will focus on client education and fostering strong connections with community resources, while collaborating with healthcare partners. Key Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor OAT medications
Communicate client observations to the care team
Facilitate client education on harm reduction
Connect clients with community resources
Maintain thorough documentation per pharmacy standards
Requirements:
LPN or RN registration in good standing
Valid BC Driver’s License
Experience in mental health or substance use preferred
Knowledge of harm reduction principles
Superior communication and cooperative skills
Enhance the lives of clients through effective nursing practices and compassionate community support.
