Position Summary

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, Plant Labourers are responsible for completing assigned tasks relating to the processing and shipping of fish.

Position Information:
Work hours are variable, generally Monday – Friday
Seasonal from June – September
Competitive hourly wage, $17.20 - $19.49 depending on position

Responsibilities:
Grading, packing or weighing fish
Labeling boxes
Transporting filled boxes to the freezer
Cleaning and tidying up once tasks are completed
Following all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies

Examples of Positions
Fillet machine operator
Forklift operator
Packing product
Loading plate freezers
Night time plant clean-up

Requirements:
Students welcome
No formal degree, certificate or diploma required
Will train
Own transportation required
