RBC's Chief Audit Executive group provides independent assurance and advisory services across the enterprise.

This four-month winter co-op offers a consulting-style Business Analyst experience within Internal Audit.

Responsibilities
Support Internal Audit leadership through strategy, process improvement, analytics, and transformation projects.
Analyze ambiguous problem statements and develop transparent insights and recommendations.
Research business units, risk areas, and processes to identify themes and opportunities.
Design and own process improvements enabled by technology and artificial intelligence.
Collaborate with stakeholders to solve challenges within the CAE Group.
Build executive presentations, develop strategy, and communicate project value.

Must-have Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in business, accounting, finance, analytics, strategy, or a related field.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, synthesis ability, and initiative are required.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development, are required.




Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint or similar tools is required.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting is required.
Ability to challenge the status quo and develop solutions is required.

Nice-to-have Qualifications
Interest in internal audit, evolving technology, consulting, or enterprise strategy is nice to have.
Previous co-op or project-based experience is nice to have.
Exposure to analytics, strategy, operations, or business transformation initiatives is nice to have.
Stakeholder management and experience presenting insights to non-technical or senior audiences are nice to have.

Student eligibility
Candidates must return to school after the work term or require the full work term as a mandatory graduation component.
