We are currently in search of a motivated and industrious Assistant Grower with the option for permanent placement and career advancement within the company.

Qualifications:
Passionate about sustainability and urban farming
Interest in horticulture/agriculture (preferred)
Possess a valid G license
Robust communication skills
Capable of lifting 50lbs
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting performance goals
Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail
Able to innovate, implement, and oversee new processes central to our sustainability goals

Job Description:
Duration: 12 months
Full-time commitment, 40 hours per week
Hourly wage: $18
Work schedule: Tuesday-Friday (3 day weekends)

Responsibilities:
Participate in harvesting and packaging microgreens and edible flowers
Assist in the sowing and cultivation of various microgreens
Contribute to crop watering and maintenance




Organic Integrated pest management
Engage in composting initiatives aimed at achieving zero waste, sequestering carbon, and distributing the byproduct to local farmers/growers.
Support the upkeep of closed-loop aquaponic systems
Assist in the execution of farm expansion projects

You'll play a vital role in minimizing environmental impacts through our organic growing practices, waste reduction strategies, and carbon sequestration efforts.
