YOUR MISSIONS

I am looking for a Chief Accountant for a growing manufacturing company located in Lanaudière.

Reporting to the Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Handling accounting activities related to month-end and year-end closing
Preparing month-end and year-end journal entries
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and consolidated financial statements
Supervise and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
Monitor supplier payments, collections, and problematic accounts
Analyze expenses and monitor cash flow




Prepare monthly financial ratios and respond to requests from financial institutions
Participate in year-end preparations and collaborate with external auditors
Prepare and monitor grant applications and their reporting
Verify payroll and government reports
Perform any other related tasks associated with the position.

YOUR PROFILE

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting/finance
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
Ability to work independently, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
