Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a quick-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Responsibilities
Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work
Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and kitchen supplies according to safety standards
Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold sanitation standards
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by providing timely assistance with cleaning duties
Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with facility policies
Requirements
Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, food handling, and sanitation protocols
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Solid attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required
Basic understanding of food preparation, cooking, serving, or hospitality practices is advantageous but not essential

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
