Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in patient care, particularly working with older adults in a long-term care facility.
Duties
As a Physiotherapist, your responsibilities will include:
Assessing patients’ needs and developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and goals.
Implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educating patients and their families about treatment options, progress, and home care strategies.
Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical standards.
Staying updated on medical terminology and best practices within the field of occupational therapy.




Providing support in acute care settings, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective therapy services.

Experience
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
Previous experience is preferred, with a focus on long-term care settings.
Proven experience in case management and understanding of patient care protocols
Solid knowledge of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy.
A Valid lisence with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
Degree in Physical Therapy approved by the Alliance of Physical Therapy Regulators of Canada
