Become an Accountant at PROK, supporting ALPINE’s operations in Surrey, BC. This position involves managing compliance, financial reporting, and using advanced Excel in a cooperative setting. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the team, managing the full accounting cycle and preparing financial reports crucial for global operations. You will contribute to compliance with GST/PST and enhance financial accuracy through collaboration with business leaders. Key Responsibilities:
Handle the full accounting cycle including month-end close
Prepare and submit detailed financial reports
Ensure compliance with payroll and tax regulations
Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities
Support external auditing processes during year-end

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years accounting experience
Robust Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP mandatory)
Familiarity with Canadian tax compliance
Preferred experience in payroll systems like Dayforce
Progress in CPA designation is a bonus
