Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians (MDRT/MDRDs)
Location: Toronto
Required Documents/Certifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current certification with CSA or MDRAO
Completion of a certified Medical Device Reprocessing educational program
Recertification every five years
Required Skills & Experience:
Recent experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing setting.
Recent experience in scope reprocessing.
Knowledge and experience with MDRD infection control requirements.
Thorough knowledge of instrumentation and medical/surgical supplies and equipment.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Ability to wear all required PPE.
Commitment to continuing education and patient safety.
Availability to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
