Duties
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure availability for meal preparation and service
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces
Assist with food handling tasks such as organizing ingredients and supplies to support meal preparation
Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when needed, including chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients
Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed to maintain a tidy workspace




Help with restocking supplies and organizing storage areas to promote an efficient kitchen flow

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service workplace is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Basic understanding of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and focus
Robust attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and organization at all times
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Willingness to assist with meal preparation and other kitchen duties as needed
Knowledge of cooking techniques or prior kitchen experience is a plus but not required
