Home Hardware Building Centre – Woodstock is looking for an PRO DeskContractor Sales Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of building materials, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to build lasting relationships with contractors and customers.

Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to contractors and retail customers.
Develop and maintain robust customer relationships.
Prepare accurate quotes and material lists.
Assist customers with product selection and building material requirements.
Continuously develop knowledge of products, building materials, and construction practices.
Identify new sales opportunities and build relationships with prospective customers.
Work closely with the outside contractor sales team and other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
Follow up on quotes and opportunities to help grow sales.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of lumber, building materials, and construction processes.




Experience in the building supply or construction industry is an asset.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Comfortable learning and using computer programs and business systems.
Solid work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A willingness to learn and continually develop product and industry knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
