Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Food and Beverage Assistant to join our energetic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our guests enjoy outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy periods




Support the team with food handling, serving, and basic kitchen tasks as needed

Requirements
Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and qualified demeanor
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Hospitality background or restaurant experience is advantageous
