Duties
Safely operate your own commercial truck to transport freight to designated destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Maintain accurate documentation for all shipments, including delivery receipts, logs, and inspection reports
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues on the road
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably as an owner operator or independent contractor
Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts and other loading machinery
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle problems
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude on the road
