Red Road Recovery Centre in Sorrento, BC is an Indigenous Based Recovery Residence is looking for an Overnight- Clinical Support Staff to join their team!

Job description:

Red Road Recovery is looking to add a valuable member to our team. As an Overnight- Support Staff you will work closely with the residents of our Assisted Living Recovery Residence.

Note: You will be working overnight, this is not a sleep shift.

Knowledge and experience (personal or qualified ) of 12 Step Recovery is a job is strongly preferred.

Reliable Transportation a Must

4 days on/ 4 days off - 12 hour shifts

Purpose: The Overnight - Clinical Support Staff at Red Road Recovery is a critical role and responsible for monitoring cameras during the night and being a support to residents as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Work as a team: Debrief with daytime staff leaving their shift and coming onto shift in the morning.
Monitor Grounds: Monitor cameras and do periodic rounds during the night to ensure residents are secure in their cabins & both lodges.
Morning Set-up: Unlock resident door at 5am and put on coffee in Main Lodge. Ensure quiet time until 6am.
Dispense Medications:



Assist day staff with dispensing medications.
Provide emotional and practical support to residents: This includes listening to residents, providing guidance and advice, and helping them to cope with the challenges of recovery.
Monitor and document resident progress: This includes observing residents, taking notes, and keeping accurate progress records.
Provide crisis intervention: This includes being available to residents and providing support and assistance as needed.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and training: This includes regular and ongoing training to improve professional development and knowledge.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Ensure all common areas are clean & presentable (cups, books etc. put away).

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 46.0 per week
