We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for at our Winnipeg West location. This position will be on a casual on call basis.
In this role you will safely and efficiently transport new and used equipment, parts and supplies to and from customers and/or between branches and dealer facilities. This position will drive primarily in Manitoba with the potential for occasional trips to Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:
Transporting heavy/wide loads to and from customers and between branches
Transporting new and used equipment, parts and supplies as required
Load and unload large agricultural equipment
Block and secure loads to ensure secure transport
Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections
Promptly identify and report safety /mechanical issues
Operate all equipment in a safe and productive manner
Periodic operation of a forklift
Maintains records of pickups and deliveries
Maintains all required certifications in line with Highways Regulations and company policy.
Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service

Required Skills
Forklift Operators license mandatory (provided through in-house training)
Experience with flat decks, tractor trailer (over dimension) and transporting of whole goods;
Ability to drive agricultural equipment on and off trailer;
Familiar with Manitoba highway regulations;
Protected transportation, loading and offloading, including using a spotter, center of gravity, leveling loads, tie down/blockage and securing of dimensional loads

Required Experience
3+ years driving experience in all kinds of weather
Valid class 1 Manitoba license with clean abstract
