We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of a growing fashion manufacturing company. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will oversee accounting and financial reporting while providing strategic insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, payroll and month-end close;
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts and cash flow;
Manage inventory accounting, costing, margins and COGS within a manufacturing environment;
Monitor production costs and variances, identifying opportunities to improve profitability;
Establish and monitor financial controls, processes and reporting procedures;
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities;
Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions;
Partner with Operations, Production, Purchasing and Sales to improve financial performance;




Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks and other financial partners;
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements and internal policies;
Lead and develop the accounting/finance team.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including experience in a manufacturing setting;
Strong knowledge of inventory, product costing, COGS and manufacturing accounting;
Advanced Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems;
Strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills;
Hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace;
Experience in fashion, apparel, textiles or consumer goods manufacturing is a robust asset;

CPA designation is an asset
