Join our Tavern team as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming setting where guests enjoy high-quality dishes served with care and professionalism.

Although our schedule may change due to availability, we are looking for people who can work Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to uphold health regulations and sanitation standards
Serve meals efficiently while providing friendly and attentive food service to guests
Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple cooking stations and assisting with meal assembly




Follow instructions from head chefs or kitchen managers to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes

Requirements
Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting preferred
Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Solid understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Basic knowledge of serving protocols and customer service principles is a plus
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
