We are seeking a Dishwasher/Prep Cook - PUR & EASY Breakfast And Lunch to join our team! You will thrive in a quick-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation.
Prep Cook Responsibilities:
Assist the head cook by chopping vegetables and washing food items
Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use
Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times
Prepare salads, breads, salad dressings and sauces
Gather food ingredients from the refrigerator/freezer as required by the cook
Dishwasher Responsibilities
Collect and wash all dishes, cutlery, and glasses
Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glasses are properly sanitized before further use
Clean kitchen tools and appliances properly after use
Clean kitchen floors, storage areas, and take out the trash
Broom and mop the dish area and the restaurant after closing as required
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dishwashing and using the commercial dishwashing machine.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace
Requirements:
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
A team player with positive communication skills.
Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
Very good physical condition and endurance.
Must be available to work on the weekends and holidays.
Hours of Operation:
Monday to Sunday- 7 am until 3 pm
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
