Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and food safety standards to upsell effectively and enhance guest satisfaction
Prepare tables by setting up utensils, napkins, and condiments; assist in food preparation when necessary
Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of dining areas, adhering to all food handling and food safety regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address guest needs promptly
Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
Robust customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Experience with POS systems
Ability to manage time effectively in a quick-paced environment through excellent time management skills
Basic math skills for order accuracy, cashiering, and cash handling tasks
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
