Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for endodontic procedures
Assist the dentist during complex root canal treatments, including handling dental instruments and suctioning
Manage patient flow by greeting patients, updating medical histories, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software
Educate patients on post-treatment care and answer their questions with clarity and confidence
Sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient files
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with at least one year in a busy dental practice, preferably with endodontic exposure
Familiarity with dental software platforms for record keeping and scheduling
Robust understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care and patient communication
Ability to work efficiently in quick-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
