Prima Academy is a growing music and arts school in Markham, Ontario. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Vocal Teacher to join our teaching team.

Position
Part-time Vocal Teacher
Teaching students ages 4 to adult
Private one-on-one lessons
Beginner to advanced students
RCM exam preparation and performance development

Responsibilities
Provide engaging and structured vocal lessons based on each student's level and goals
Develop students' vocal technique, breathing, pitch, rhythm, musicality, and performance skills
Prepare students for performances, competitions, auditions, and exams when applicable
Communicate professionally with students, parents, and the academy
Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment

Qualifications
Robust vocal training and performance background
Previous teaching experience preferred
Formal education in Music, Vocal Performance, Music Education, or a related field is an asset
Experience working with children and youth is preferred




Ability to teach a variety of musical styles is an asset
Reliable, patient, and professional
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule

Flexible part-time hours, with availability during weekday evenings and weekends preferred.
