Responsibilities
Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices, including Android and iOS platforms
Perform repairs such as screen replacements, battery swaps, and port fixes using hand tools and schematics
Troubleshoot operating systems, including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, to resolve software conflicts or malfunctions
Assist customers with device setup, software updates, and troubleshooting to enhance user experience
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each device
Conduct analysis of device problems to identify root causes and recommend solutions or upgrades
Stay current with recent mobile device models,
operating system updates, and repair techniques
Requirements
Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets
Solid understanding of Android and iOS operating systems along with familiarity with macOS and Windows environments
Ability to read schematics and use hand tools effectively for delicate repairs
Knowledge of computer hardware components relevant to mobile devices and troubleshooting software issues
Excellent analysis skills to diagnose complex technical problems quickly and accurately
Retail sales experience is a plus, especially in customer-facing roles involving technology products
Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers of all levels
