Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC and other machine tools to produce accurate, high-quality parts according to technical drawings and specifications.

Duties
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, charts, and work orders.
Determine the required machining operations and sequence of work.
Measure and lay out workpieces according to specifications.
Calculate dimensions, measurements, and tolerances to ensure accurate machining.
Set up and operate CNC and other machine tools.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tooling, and equipment.
Adjust machine settings, tooling, speeds, and feeds as required.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Inspect finished workpieces to ensure accuracy, quality,



and compliance with specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent
Technical or trade training in machining, manufacturing, or mechanical trades may be selected as an asset if available

Experience
1 to 3 years
Machining, CNC operation, fabrication, manufacturing, mechanical work, or similar industrial experience

Pay: $36.92 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
