Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings
Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other frozen treats according to company standards
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and serving stations in compliance with food safety regulations
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Experience
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training!
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash register technology is a plus
Robust customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within the food industry
Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
