Responsibilities and Job Description:
Welcome customers and create an unforgettable experience in person or over the phone
Serve guests dining in or from the takeout counter
Create a wide range of specialty espresso beverages, as well as juices and teas
Gain knowledge of our wine list and alcoholic beverages to prepare and serve
Keep bistro facilities clean and well maintained (front service counter, dine-in area, restrooms etc.)
Ensure products and merchandise are presented neatly and set tables with care
Complete sales and orders using a POS system
Package pastries and orders correctly according to chits and custom pre orders

Skills, Qualities and Experience:




While previous experience working in food service or retail as a barista, server, sales associate, cashier, team member, or customer sales representative is always helpful and appreciated, your attitude and willingness to learn is most important.
First Aid, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety familiarity
Excellent attention to detail in all areas
Passionate about food
Energetic and excited to grow with the company

You must be available to work on weekends (trust us, having Mondays off is outstanding!). A normal day will start in the morning and finish early in the afternoon and will be spent in a lovely, French inspired atmosphere that always smells amazing! We are proud to offer our full time team members a fully funded, comprehensive health and dental advantages program.

The entire staff (excluding owners and we don't hire managers) share equally in the tip pool which consistently adds $5-$8 per hour worked to each staff member's daily pay.
