Otis Excavating is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our heavy equipment maintenance team. This is a full time, in-shop position based in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:
Enter and maintain equipment and service information in HCSS Equipment360
Create, update, and manage work orders
Order parts and maintain accurate inventory records
Coordinate parts pickups and deliveries
Prepare basic invoices and maintain filing systems
Ensure accurate and up-to-date service and maintenance records
Schedule and coordinate equipment repairs and service activities with shop personnel
Provide administrative support to the service department as required

Qualifications:
Previous experience using HCSS Equipment360 is required
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel




Previous/current experience in the heavy equipment and/or heavy truck industry
Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation (shop location is not accessible by public transit)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of heavy equipment and commercial trucks is considered an asset
