We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe workplace
Support clients with mobility exercises and assist with transfers or repositioning as needed
Document care provided, observe changes in health status, and communicate updates to healthcare teams promptly
Qualifications
Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly valued
Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
Knowledge of dementia care strategies and medication administration procedures
Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates
Must be physically capable of assisting with client transfers and mobility support

Pay: $24.25-$27.19 per hour
