General Laborer with WHMIS Certification

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia Employment Type: Full time (Project-Based)

Schedule: 7am to 7pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary: $25/hour

Platform1 is hiring General Laborers to assist with the installation of warehouse shelving and racking systems for a large warehouse project in Halifax, Nova Scotia. No experience is required—training will be provided.

Responsibilities
Assist with assembling and installing warehouse shelving.
Load, unload, and move materials.
Use basic hand and power tools.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow instructions from supervisors.
Work safely and wear required PPE.
Perform other general labour duties as assigned.

Qualifications




Must have experience working on a construction site using Hand Tools
Must have WHMIS certification to work on site
Reliable and dependable with a solid work ethic.
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
CSA-approved safety boots required.
