Our aerospace client is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to support final assembly, modifications, and maintenance of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft. This is a hands-on role based in the hangar, working closely with engineering, quality, and flight operations to safely return aircraft to service.
Key Responsibilities
Install and modify aircraft systems, components, and structures using approved data
Perform inspections, system checks, troubleshooting, and defect rectification
Support ground runs, test flights, and return-to-service activities
Prepare aircraft for maintenance by ensuring parts, tooling, and documentation are ready
Maintain clean, protected, and FOD-free work areas and support aircraft ground handling
Lead tasks as required and mentor junior technicians
Complete accurate maintenance, test, and inspection documentation
Participate in training, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
Completion of an approved Aircraft Maintenance training program
Valid AME license (Canadian or equivalent)
3+ years’ experience in an MRO, operator, or OEM setting
Rotary-wing or specialized aircraft experience is an asset
Solid troubleshooting, safety awareness, and technical documentation skills
Eligible to work with regulated aviation goods
