We're currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to be the friendly face at our front desk and a helping hand behind the scenes.

Duties
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the veterinarian's time.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the clinic's database.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Assist in managing inventory of supplies and laboratory materials as needed.
Assist in patient handling, proper restraint for various procedures, and basic patient care as needed.
Assist with surgical procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring during surgery and recovery, post-surgery cleanup, and sterilization of instruments for upcoming procedures.




Ensure the reception area and exam rooms are clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.

Requirements
Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Robust communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards clients and pets alike.
Ability to multitask effectively in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
Knowledge of laboratory procedures is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist the veterinary team.
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
