Tim Hortons at 4191 Lougheed, Burnaby, BC is hiring a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations and lead a team of 5–10 staff members.

Work Setting

Responsibilities
Establish methods to meet work schedules
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
Hire food service staff
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Prepare budget and cost estimates
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Prepare and submit reports
Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Establish work schedules

Requirements
Secondary (high)



school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
2 years to less than 3 years of experience in food service
Food Safety Certificate required
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Adaptable availability: morning, day, evening, night, weekend

Work Conditions

Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, attention to detail, work under pressure.
