The successful candidate will initially support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections, with the opportunity to learn and take on additional accounting responsibilities over time.

Compensation & Hours:
Pay Rate: $24-$26/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hours a day

Position Summary:
Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and maintaining accurate customer accounts
Follow up on outstanding accounts and make professional collection calls as required
Support accounts payable processes,



including invoice entry, coding, and payment preparation
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with account reconciliations and other general accounting functions
Take on additional accounting responsibilities and processes as training and experience progress

Required Qualifications:
Certificate, diploma, or post-secondary coursework in Accounting, Business Administration, Bookkeeping, or a related field
Foundational understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting-related software
Professional communication skills, including the confidence to follow up with customers regarding outstanding accounts
Motivated to learn, take direction, and develop within an accounting environment

Bonus Points For:
Previous experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
Previous office or administrative experience involving financial data
