Reporting to the Culinary Manager, your responsibilities will include operating dishwashers, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring a spotless cooking area. This position requires attention to detail and an understanding of food handling procedures while creating a welcoming setting for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load, operate, and empty dishwashers efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of cooking surfaces and kitchen equipment
• Damp mop floors for hygiene and safety




• Attend in-service training to meet dietary needs
• Uphold organizational ethics and resident rights
Requirements:
• Empathy for the elderly and disabled
• Ability to follow food storage and handling procedures
• Read and write English fluently
• Must obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Work accurately and quickly in a kitchen setting
