As part of the Waste and Water Project Operator 1 team, your role centers on operating a Class 4 facility and managing diverse treatment processes. Adapting to a rotating shift schedule, you will apply your knowledge in chemical systems and safety protocols to ensure optimal water quality and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Class 4 Water Treatment facility operations
Conduct regular inspections and system checks
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Implement maintenance schedules for equipment and systems
Collaborate with the team on operational improvements
Requirements:
Class 1 certification in Water Treatment necessary
Must have a valid Class G driver's license
Availability for shift work and on-call duties
Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations
Competency in using computerized monitoring systems
Contribute to the health and safety of communities by applying your technical expertise in water treatment at OCWA.
