Job Title: Assistant Lodge Manager
Reporting to: Lodge Operation Manager
Prerequisites:
A valid Serving It Right (SIR) certificate
Schedule:
This is a full-time seasonal position for the 2026-2027 season offering full time hours through a complement of varying schedules.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a highly organized, adaptable, and guest-focused Assistant Lodge Manager to support the day-to‑day operations. This role works closely with the Lodge Operation Manager to ensure exceptional guest experience, smooth lodge operations, and strong team coordination in a fast‑paced remote environment. The ideal candidate thrives in hospitality, enjoys leadership responsibilities, and is comfortable balancing guest service, logistics, team support, and operational problem‑solving in a remote mountain setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Hospitality
Deliver warm, qualified, high-end guest service throughout the guest stay
Assist with guest arrivals, departures, orientations, and daily communications
Handle guest requests, concerns, and special accommodation professionally
Help create a welcoming lodge atmosphere and memorable guest experience
Coordinate with culinary, guiding, and operations teams to ensure seamless service
Lodge Operations
Support daily lodge operations and ensure smooth execution of schedules and activities
Assist with room readiness, housekeeping coordination, and lodge presentation standards
Monitor inventory levels and help coordinate lodge supplies
Maintain operational standards related to cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort
Team Leadership
Support and motivate lodge staff in a collaborative team environment
Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and positive attitude
Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Lodge Operation Manager
Support transportation logistics and guest movement coordination
Communicate effectively with operations, guiding, maintenance, and management teams
Help ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications & Experience
Previous hospitality or lodge operations experience required
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Experience in luxury hospitality, ski operations, tourism, or remote lodges is a strong asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure
Comfortable living and working in a remote team environment
Valid driver’s license
First Aid certification is an asset
