Support holistic care for residents at Riverbend Special Care Home as a Recreation Worker with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Engage clients through recreational activities that enhance their quality of life.

This part time temporary role allows you to utilize your health care experience and skills in organizational and communication abilities. You will work to enrich the mental, emotional, physical, and cultural dimensions of residents’ lives. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of health care experience and a Grade 12 education to be considered for this meaningful position.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee activities to improve residents’ quality of life
Create supportive programs for mental, emotional, and physical health




Document resident participation and adjust activities as needed
Work flexible schedule during days, evenings, and weekends
Foster a welcoming workplace for all clients

Requirements:
One year of relevant experience in health care
Grade 12 education or higher
Excellent computer and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with clients requiring special support
Valid driver’s license when applicable
