Purchasing & Inventory Control Specialist | Supply Chain & Operations Support Department: Operations Position Type: Contract (12 months) Reports To: Purchasing Manager Keep Operations Moving. From managing purchase orders and monitoring inventory to coordinating with suppliers and supporting our facilities, you 'll help ensure our teams have what they need to provide the exceptional service our partners and pet families rely on. Work directly with suppliers to confirm product availability, pricing, shipping and delivery timelines. Monitor inventory levels using purchasing reports and place orders when established inventory parameters are met. Verify received products against purchase orders and work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies. Follow up on outstanding orders to ensure materials are shipped and delivered as expected. Maintain and update purchase orders in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system based on vendor confirmations and delivery changes. Help support and train Gateway facilities on the use of NetSuite. Coordinate warehouse
