Job Description
The Digital Engagement Specialist is an execution-focused role responsible for building and delivering the digital outputs that power the Security Behaviors program. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day work that keeps campaigns, simulations, and program documentation running. The ideal candidate brings hands-on web and email development skills and takes pride in translating strategy into polished, well-organized, and on-time deliverables. What will you do?
Develop HTML email campaigns and notifications for internal security awareness initiatives, including awareness moments, behavior nudges, and program communications Build emails to brand standards, ensuring rendering compatibility Design and execute targeted phishing simulation campaigns Manage campaign deployment and support scheduling logistics Build and configure phishing simulation email templates in the simulation platform, including lure copy, sender configuration, and landing page design Support simulation scheduling and deployment in coordination with the Product Manager Maintain a template repository, ensuring content stays current with emerging threat trends Ensure QA testing of simulations prior to launch Own day-to-day administration of the platform’s Machine Learning (ML)-assisted phishing reporting tool (Report Phishing), including rule configuration and ongoing maintenance Contribute to training the ML model by reviewing and classifying reported emails, surfacing patterns, and providing feedback to improve detection accuracy Manage automated notification workflows triggered when employees report non-simulation emails, ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and appropriately calibrated Monitor rule logic and notification thresholds,
escalating anomalies or misclassification trends to the Product Manager Assist with ad-hoc platform administration tasks and recurring operational processes, and assist with technical app custodian specific tasks What do you need to succeed? Must have:
5+ years of experience in a corporate communications, marketing, or security awareness role 3+ years of experience with HTML (ideally with email development) must be well versed in HTML-based emails with visual design and responsive layouts 3+ years of experience building or editing web content (landing pages) Experience managing a Confluence space or similar wiki/knowledge base platform Experience with A/B testing and/or campaign optimization Strong attention to detail and visual design knowledge Must have an interest in cybersecurity combined with marketing/design skills Nice to have:
