About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Development Specialist to drive the creation and enhancement of current insurance products in Kimberley . This role is essential for understanding market needs, identifying opportunities, and translating them into competitive and profitable insurance offerings. You will work cross-functionally with actuarial, underwriting, marketing, and legal teams to bring current products to market successfully. Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for new insurance products.
Design and develop cutting-edge insurance products, defining features, benefits, pricing strategies, and coverage terms.
Collaborate closely with actuarial teams to ensure product profitability and risk adequacy.
Work with legal and compliance departments to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements.




Develop product launch plans and support marketing and sales teams in product rollouts.
Monitor the performance of existing products and recommend improvements or updates.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the insurance industry , with a strong focus on product development or management.
Proven ability to conceptualize, design, and launch successful insurance products.
Excellent understanding of insurance principles, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
