Umbrella Family is hiring a Temporary Cook dedicated to delivering healthy meals and snacks for children. This full-time position in Dundas promotes food safety and positive kitchen practices.

In this role, you will work Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, for a total of 30 hours each week. You will prepare and serve meals that adhere to nutritional guidelines, ensuring children enjoy secure food options. Your contributions will facilitate a nurturing environment, and you will play a vital role in the center’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to children
• Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging menus
• Ensure meals comply with allergy and dietary requirements




• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
• Perform grocery ordering and supply maintenance

Requirements:
• Previous kitchen experience beneficial
• Familiarity with Canada's Food Guide essential
• Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate
• Flexibility to assist in other center duties as required
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cooking
