Lead electrical engineering efforts as a Project Engineer with Woodfibre LNG in Squamish, British Columbia. Focus on high voltage installations and field management to support LNG construction success.
As a Project Engineer - Electrical, you will oversee the construction phase of the Woodfibre LNG export facility. Reporting to the Site Construction Manager, the role involves managing EPC contractor activities, monitoring schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your expertise in electrical systems and construction will guide the successful completion of this major LNG project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage in office coordination for EPC contractor activities
• Oversee quality of all construction per project standards
• Monitor project schedules and costs for accuracy
• Engage with contractor for effective planning and resource allocation
• Ensure safety and compliance with all operational procedures
Requirements:
• P.Eng. in Electrical Engineering or relevant degree
• 5-10 years of experience in heavy construction projects
• High Voltage electrical design and installation expertise
• Familiarity with system completions tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
