As a Roofer & Caulker within CUPE 116, you will execute roofing repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting leaks and carrying out minor replacements. This role demands expertise in various roofing materials and requires independent work as well as collaboration with other tradespeople. Effective communication with clients and delivering service efficiently are essential to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain materials and equipment for assigned work
• Troubleshoot and repair roofs of various materials
• Install new caulking in key areas
• Perform emergency call-outs for roof leaks
• Communicate repair recommendations to clients
Requirements:
• Journeyperson certification as a Roofer
• Valid BC Driver’s license
• Minimum of five years related experience
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes
• Robust problem-solving skills and communication abilities
