- Collaborate with an agile team
- Design and document test scenarios
- Identify target test items
- Script automated tests
- Test new features from design through deployment
- Determine requirements for deploying new features and functions to developer and test environments
- Maintain automation scripts, execute tests, and analyze results
- Analyze test coverage gaps and design test cases and scenarios
- Ensure acceptance criteria, test cases, and QA standards are followed
- Collaborate with cross-functional onshore/offshore teams
- Keep stakeholders updated on testing status and results
- Document, triage, investigate, and re-test bugs and failures

Requirements

- Intermediate position in a 12-month fixed term capacity
- 3+ years of experience planning, designing, developing, and testing software
- 2+ years of experience creating automation in Java or another similar language
- 2+ years of experience with Selenium, Java, or any relevant scripting language
- Experience with automation testing across Webapps, API's, Micro Services, and Backend systems
- Knowledge of data structures and data manipulation
- Solid understanding of how to apply QA methodologies and processes




- Experience working in an agile/scrum workplace
- Must be in the greater Vancouver, BC area
- Ability to work remotely with in-person interactions 5 days per quarter
