Job Overview We are seeking a skilled excavtor / equipment operator to join our team. As a operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to perform various tasks such as excavating, grading, backfill, truck managnment, water/sewer hookup, etc.... This is a fulltime position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
Control dig, manage foundation excavations, operate excavators (4 - 30t) skid steer track loaders. Dozer, grader and other equipment experience a bonus.
5+ years experience preferred, strong communication, and daily attendance required.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating the equipment
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills
Proficient in excavator / equipment operation
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
Experience in other equipment, carry class 1 or 3 license is a bonus
Commercial driving experience is preferred
Ability to accurately grade and operate other heavy equipment is an asset
