Be a key player in aerospace technology by becoming a Thermal Imaging Specialist at NRC. This full time role focuses on cutting-edge research utilizing advanced thermal sensor capabilities in aircraft operations.We are looking for a skilled Thermal Imaging Specialist for our Aerospace Research Centre. You will lead research efforts involving thermal imaging, collaborating with scientists on data interpretation and sensor evaluation. Critical to advancing technologies, you will enhance capabilities for military and civilian applications.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thermal sensor selection and performance evaluation
Calibrate and operate thermal imaging technologies
Extract and analyze information from thermal imagery
Produce technical documentation and research reports
Enhance integration of thermal systems with other technologiesRequirements:
Master’s Degree in relevant engineering fields
Experience with thermal imagers in an airborne context
Understanding of atmospheric and optical corrections
Proven ability in data processing for thermal analysis
