If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working with numbers, and take pride in delivering accurate and timely payroll, this could be the role for you.Position OverviewAs thePayroll Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our Canadian employees are paid accurately and on time. You'll manage payroll processing, maintain detailed records, and partner closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to support a smooth and compliant payroll function. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, this role is for you.Location:Dartmouth, NSSchedule:Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pmType:In-officeResponsibilitiesProcess Canadian payroll accurately and on scheduleEnsure compliance with Federal and Provincial payroll regulations (Quebec knowledge is an asset)Review payroll data,
investigate discrepancies, and make necessary correctionsPrepare payroll reports for internal teamsSupport year-end activities, including T4 and RL-1 preparationMaintain accurate employee payroll records, deductions, and garnishmentsRespond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarityProvide payroll data and support to HR and Finance as neededQualificationsPost‐secondary education in a related field; PCP designation is an assetMinimum 1 year of payroll or general office experienceWorking knowledge of Canadian payroll legislationExperience with payroll systems (Payworks considered an asset)Strong Excel skills and comfort working with dataExcellent communication, organization, and time-management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsProfessionalism and discretion when handling confidential informationAbility to work independently while contributing to a close‐knight teamIf you're looking to grow your payroll career in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.#INDS-HP
