The Salvation Army seeks dedicated individuals to provide essential support during Christmas. In this position, you will work directly with donations of toys and food, aid in setting up distribution centers, and record vital statistics. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, as hours may vary to accommodate operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and sort donations of toys and food items
• Assist with food and toy pick-ups using program vehicles
• Set up and dismantle distribution centers for hampers
• Record statistical data accurately and clearly
• Support the Kettle campaign as needed
Requirements:
• High School completion or equivalent
• Minimum one year of related community program experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and online programs
• Excellent interpersonal and adaptability skills
• Ability to lift/move items up to 20 lbs safely
