Job Description
Under the direction of the Home Care Manager, the Registered Nurse carries major responsibilities in providing nursing services in the home; collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in assessing needs, setting priorities for care and developing standards for care; participates in educational programs and performance evaluation process; promotes valuable public relations and participates, as required,



in studies and research projects within the Home Care Program.

Experience

Two (2) years recent community nursing experience/broad generalist background

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Nursing diploma is acceptable

Other Information

Travel within the region and provincially

Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

Desirable to possess nursing principles/techniques for long term care patients
