Cameco Fuel Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Operator to support our Port Hope facility. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Production Supervisor.
Position And Responsibilities Located at our CFM Port Hope facility, this position involves the following responsibilities:
Operation of manufacturing equipment for the production of nuclear fuel bundles
Performance and documentation of in-process product and process checks
Cleaning of equipment in work area
Enter information into the computerized Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Adherence to safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
Must be available to work a 3-shift rotation and meet the physical demands of the job.




Education And Qualifications Requirements of the position:
High School diploma
Two or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Conditions Of Employment Pre-employment substance test
Criminal Background Check
Valid Class G driver's licence.
Wage Wage: Starting hourly rate is $41.99. After 6 months of continuous employment, the rate increases to $44.09 per hour.
