MLW CPAs is a busy mid-sized firm with 4 partners and two offices located in Victoria and on Salt Spring Island. We offer our clients a full range of accounting and tax services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in public practice. This position is located in Victoria, standard hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with overtime expected in March and April. Based on individual circumstances, hours can be negotiated.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following duties :
Preparation of corporate, personal, estate & trust tax returns
Financial statement preparation
Partnerships & proprietorships
Other general accounting related tasks

Skills and experience required:




Public Practice experience required
CPA or CPA student
Experience with Caseware, Profile, Sage, QuickBooks
Adherence to high standards of skilled and ethical conduct
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well organized with exceptional attention to detail
Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet regular deadlines
